Visual Studio 2010 exam retirement dates changed


Many developers are now working on getting current or upgrading their certifications, especially now with the announcement of new Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) credentials.

The Visual Studio 2010 exams below which were previously meant to retire on July 31, 2013 will now remain available until further notice.

  • 70-511: TS: Windows Applications Development with Microsoft  .NET Framework 4
  • 70-513: TS: Windows Communication Foundation Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4
  • 70-515: TS: Web Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4
  • 70-516: TS: Accessing Data with Microsoft .NET Framework 4
  • 70-518: Pro: Designing and Developing Windows Applications Using Microsoft .NET Framework 4
  • 70-519: Pro: Designing and Developing Web Applications Using Microsoft .NET Framework 4

No new retirement date has been set but we will keep you updated. There’s plenty of time to complete your current Visual Studio 2010 certification path.
