New Certificate for Cisco Telepresence solution specialists

Cisco launches a new certification program aimed at channel partners looking to build and support Cisco TelePresence deployments.  The two new certifications are:

• Cisco TelePresence Solutions Specialist - Aimed for voice specialists or network engineers looking to specialize in design, implementation and maintenance of TelePresence.

• Cisco TelePresence Installations Specialist - Aimed for specialists looking to physically install and constructor Cisco TelePresense systems in the 500, 1000, 1100 and 1300 series.

Cisco will begin offering the course and service exams started in late January 2010.  The CCNA certification is a pre-requisite.

Security Certifications are in demand

According to a recent CompTIA survey, security certifications are going to be in demand in the next 5 years.  CompTIA surveyed close to 1600 IT professionals in US/Canada/UK and 37% are looking to obtain IT security certifications with 18% specifically exploring the ethical hacking certifications.
