Here's hoping that someone got fired for letting a virus onto a computer that ended up in orbit.

How could this happen?

Millions of dollars of research and development could have been brought crashing down onto planet earth through a careless example of human error.

Yet again it's the human element that causes the vulnerability. Contractors have decrypted sensitive data, stored it on a mobile device and lost it.

It's the people, stupid

"Chip and pin is more secure!" they cried...well yet again maybe the technology is but of course it's the physical security of the device that get's compromised and we're all back to square one.

Because of social engineering by hackers, the developers and users need to be educated and trained both when they are using and developing technology.
