Boot Camp PMP
This is what our students say about our boot camp pmp.
"Again another fine course." Rebecca Montagu-Leon, IBM, PMI PMP (5 Days) 29/10/2007 to 2/11/2007
"The PMP course was the most intensive learning experience I have ever encountered. Be prepared for long days (and nights!!) as this is a "cramming" course designed to get you through the PMP exam. The course itself is well designed to get you through the exam and the tutor was a knowledgable project manager who was well versed in the way PMI set their questions. I put in the work from Sunday through Thursday and passed the exam on Friday. Many thanks to Firebrand for organising a great venue at Eynsham Hall and to Geoff Filbey for his help and guidance in passing the exam. Based on this experience I will certainly treat Firebrand as my initial reference point when considering future training requirements." AC, Bristol-Myers Squibb, PMI PMP (5 Days) 29/10/2007 to 2/11/2007
"The training and training environment were of the highest standards and I will strongly recommend it to my friends and collegues." Shahram Safari, Project Management, PMI PMP (5 Days) 29/10/2007 to 2/11/2007
"The first three days were primarily theory based and this required a lot of reading. Day 4 was really useful, as it was a mock exam. This was great preparation for the exam on Friday. Our instructor was fantastic and brought examples to life by allowing the group to provide examples from their industry. Overall an exhausting but positive experience." Karen Costello, JPMorgan, PMI PMP (5 Days) 17/9/2007 to 21/9/2007
"Firebrand* provide the ultimate environment for fast track learning in the most exquisite setting. They employ only the BEST and personable trainers with a wealth of knowledge. Firebrand* have devised a learning system which provides consistently high results. I cannot recommend highly enough." Emma Seddon, DataSelect Ltd (Phones International), PMI PMP (5 Days) 17/9/2007 to 21/9/2007
"Getting away from the work environment and dedicating your full attension to passing the exam is by far the most effective and focused approach - Firebrand* provides this environment in bucket loads." Steve Cokayne, Rolls-Royce, PMI PMP (5 Days) 25/6/2007 to 29/6/2007
"A well run structured course that enabled me to complete one of my goals in a short one of period, without affecting my family and career commitments." Kevin Johnston, KAB Seating, PMI PMP (5 Days) 6/8/2007 to 10/8/2007
"An excellent and well supported training environment. Amongst the best training I have receievd." Mike Watson, MOD, PMI PMP (5 Days) 6/8/2007 to 10/8/2007
"I would recommend Firebrand* PMP Preparation Workshop to any busy IT professional who has limited time available. The course structure, location, classroom environment and instructor capabilities all contributed positively to the whole learning experience." Bob Steele, Shell, PMI PMP (5 Days) 25/6/2007 to 29/6/2007
"The training is professional. Heythrop Park is a beautiful location to study, especially in Spring." Malcolm Rice, Bank for International Settlements, PMI PMP (5 Days) 2/4/2007 to 6/4/2007
"The PMP course was excellent. The tutor presented a very difficult and heavy subject in a manner that was easy to follow and digest, balanced with the right level of humour necessary to keep interests high and boredom an unconsidered factor. I would recommend the course to any Project Manager wishing to take the certification step as part of their overall career path." Wayne Shelton, Travelex, PMI PMP (5 Days) 2/4/2007 to 6/4/2007
"Given the amount of information you learn during the course you think you don't make it. But the trainer is highly skilled to provide you with just the right guidance to successfully pass." Thomas Ruckle, Pharma Company, PMI PMP (5 Days) 2/4/2007 to 6/4/2007
"I was looking for an intensive PMP course that did not require many hours of pre-study. I found this at Firebrand* and was not disappointed. Instructor was great especially when considering how dry a subject PMP can be. This course will task you and should not be taken lightly, however it does exactly as advertised and I achived my key goal of passing the exam at the end." Mike Young, DATAELM Ltd, PMI PMP (5 Days) 2/4/2007 to 6/4/2007
"If you are looking for PMP certification - Firebrand* provided one-stop shopping. Be sure to sign up for the PMP exam at least 3 weeks in advance of the course (to be sure you can take the PMP exam), read through the PMP material ahead of time, and you should have an excellent shot at certification by weeks end." Jim McQueeney, I paid for the class myself - so this isnt relevant, PMI PMP (5 Days) 8/1/2007 to 12/1/2007
"It was a major change in my training life. I have met diversity of cultures and expertise in fields. The environment is as you are at home and maybe better. The instructure was like a friend to all classmates ." Rashid Aldossari, SABIC, PMI PMP (5 Days) 8/1/2007 to 12/1/2007

CCSP UK
Firebrand Training offers the CISCO CCSP in the UK and Germany. This is what our students say about our courses.
http://www.firebrandtraining.co.uk/courses/cisco/ccsp_testimonials.asp
"2nd time here and still fantastic, I've got a busy job at work and 3 boys under 5 at home with my wife, so just impossible to get anything done. Firebrand* provides everything you need to get trained and qualified on whatever you chosen course is. " Duncan Slade, MBA Systems Ltd, Cisco CCSP (14 Days) 16/4/2007 to 29/4/2007
"Firebrand* provided the strong study- focussed environment I needed to excel." Lex Norrie, C&W, Cisco CCSP (14 Days) 9/10/2006 to 22/10/2006
"Firebrand* exceeded my expectations. The training, facilites, food, and personnel were profesional in all aspects. I would 100% recommend this company for your training needs!" Bruce Hale, HP_, Cisco CCSP (14 Days) 9/10/2006 to 22/10/2006
"After putting off doing my CCSP for some time, I was glad to finally put myself on the course. My biggest feeling that I had, was that I didn't have enough experience working on PIX firewalls and IDS/IPS systems. Only at an installation level. But I did have a good networking background on routers and swiFirebrand*hes, had seen TACACS inplace, so that part of the course flew by. I'd set VPNs up before and must of been lucky, but this was the hardest test there's a lot to take in, but it was well worth it. SND was really easy, do this test at the end, no training is needed for that really. If you come in with a good attitude and to want to pass this, you'll do well. I now feel comfortable and happier going for the security jobs/contracts that get posted and emailed to me, I now have more choice. The course is paying for itself. As soon as I informed the two agencies I do work for that I was going on a CCSP course, they were lining work up for me. OK, so I have to get past the interview, I didn't/couldn't get there before! Food's great, locations great, no distractions, good training, good atmosphere, I passed! What more could you want! Other guys on the course had only just done their CCNA a couple of months ago, they passed, so if you're CCNA don't be worried about going for this!" Martin Parkinson, Self Employed - Access Networks accessnetworks.biz, Cisco CCSP (14 Days) 26/6/2006 to 9/7/2006
"Best training class i have been to. Great instructor, good learning environment, no outside influence and distractions. Be ready to spend an incredible amout of time on your study, and you will be successful. It's worth the effort." Jose Garcia Vazquez, GGB Germany GmbH & Co. KG, Cisco CCSP (14 Days) 26/6/2006 to 9/7/2006
"The location, accommodation, and training facilities were comfortable and geared directly to the standard of learning and preparation needed for this examination. Both training instructors had the right mix of enthusiasm and knowledge of the Domains; coupled with valuable real world experience. I will have no issue in recommending the course to my colleagues, and business acquaintances." Jason Kenyon, Agilent Technologies GmbH, Cisco CCSP (14 Days) 23/8/2004 to 29/8/2004

Utter nonsense?
How can it cost any amount of money that you would consider "significant" to remove data from an export out of presumably a database? Consider how this data would be on those CD's. CSV (common seperated values), excel, SQL, word, tab separated even a propriertary format. Someone must have "burnt" the disks and presumably had an application at their disposal that created the export in the first place so why not JUST EXCLUDE the data!!!

How to do MCSE?
If you're still interested in getting your MCSE then time is running out. With Microsoft's move to their new qualification framework this certification will most probably be retired in 2008. So how to do MCSE?

"Long hours but you don´t notice it once you are enveloped into the coursework. Come with the right attitude and you can succeed. Come with the attitude to pass the exam and not with the intention of learning the topic inside out and you can certify."
Alex Winser, Standard Life, Oracle Certified Associate & Professional (7 Days) 5/11/2007 to 11/11/2007
"Firebrand provides a unique environment in which a hardworking student can achieve an incredible level of understanding, in a very short period of time. An exceptional service, well worth every penny."
Ewen Fortune, Echevarne, Oracle Certified Associate & Professional (7 Days) 24/9/2007 to 30/9/2007

Albert Walder, ocp, Oracle Certified Associate & Professional (7 Days) 13/8/2007 to 19/8/2007
"The training center exceeded my expectations, the staff were great and couldn't do enough for us. I was at home within hours of arriving. The hours were hard but the facilities, snacks, meals and staff made it more than bareable. Thank you."
Harold Cunningham, Freelance, Oracle Certified Associate & Professional (7 Days) 21/5/2007 to 27/5/2007
"All your needs are taken care of so that the only thing you need to think about is learning. If a problem does arise, you can rest assured that it will be sorted out and you can get on with what you are there to achieve. "
Paul Evans, DC-Link Limited, Oracle Certified Associate & Professional (7 Days) 21/5/2007 to 27/5/2007
"Despite the volume of material, the instructor was able to focus our efforts on achieving the goal - to pass the examination."
Paul Sinclair, Self Employed (Contractor), Oracle Certified Associate & Professional (7 Days) 9/4/2007 to 15/4/2007
"Firebrand* is a fantastic way to learn, particularly for contractors who need to obtain certification in the shortest space of time possible. I found the environment encourages you to learn and because it's residential you spend all your time doing that. It's a friendly atmosphere, and because you are training with like minded individuals it can be quite social too."
Lee Cullip, Myself, Oracle Certified Associate & Professional (7 Days) 9/4/2007 to 15/4/2007
"Very hard week, and you have to work with ORACLE a little time to understand everything. I'm from Germany and passed the tests. 6 days of lerning, 13 hours a day, with trainer and without. I couldn't imagine to pass it in this short time! THX"
Christoph Ulrich, IVZ (German Broadcastimg Companies), Oracle Certified Associate & Professional (7 Days) 15/1/2007 to 21/1/2007
"Very intensive and sometimes very tiring. Good result though! Note: if you have no experience of Oracle you will find it very difficult to pass both exams in 7 days."
John Hartrey, Myself, Oracle Certified Associate & Professional (7 Days) 15/1/2007 to 21/1/2007
"The Heythrop environment is both beautiful and comfortable. It encourages you to immerse yourself in the course of your choosing."

Official Sun Partner!
It's official we've been granted official sun partner status in the UK - one of only three companies and certainly the only accelerated courses. We've started with both java and solaris. So if you're into java develpoment or need a jumpstart in solaris 10 our training courses ( bootcamp "style") might be worth a look - although not for everyone as their intensity might be too much like hard work!

Cisco CCNA Training Course
What our customers say about our CCNA course...
"The course is hard, but it's important not to get caught up in studying into the early hours. Your head will need the time out to clear the haze. When they say Focused learning, they mean it! The staff and food are spot on! This was by far one of the best weeks away on a course I have had. " MW, Blue Ice IT,CCNA Accelerated Course (26/3/2007 to 30/3/2007) ""No pain no gain!" is the name of the game on this course, however I came away with a tremendous sense of satisfaction and a feeling that I had received some excellent tuition, which would improve my job prospects in a (currently) very hostile marketplace." Ben Jackson, Unemployed,CCNA Accelerated Course (22/9/2003 to 26/9/2003) "I found this an extremely valuable and postive course. It was totally free from work distractions which enabled me to concentrate fully on the task ahead. " Simon Lambert, lloyds TSB,CCNA Accelerated Course (1/8/2005 to 5/8/2005) "A tough, gruelling course that meets its objectives to prepare the student for the CCNA exam. This is not a course to take lightly - it will not teach you everything you need to know to pass the exam after just 5 days. It is the final icing on the cake that should consolidate your knowledge and prepare you for the CCNA exam." M.W., NATO,CCNA Accelerated Course (12/12/2005 to 16/12/2005) "A highlt intensive course presnted in an ideal learning environment." Robin MacAskill, Motorola ltd,CCNA Accelerated Course (16/8/2004 to 20/8/2004) "Very well presented, all topics were covered, very intense but enjoyable. Would recommed (but only for the very serious)." Steve Wilde, Gamestation,CCNA Accelerated Course (17/9/2007 to 21/9/2007) "I enjoyed my time at Firebrand* - I learned a lot of information in a very short space of time - it is very hard work and you can expect late nights, but its worth the effort!!" Anon., North Eastern Networks,CCNA Accelerated Course (29/8/2005 to 2/9/2005) "I recommend the Traing Camp as a accelerated way of learning. If you are prepared to put in the effort and hours then it will be well worth while." RB, QEIICC,CCNA Accelerated Course (30/6/2003 to 4/7/2003) "I have learned a lot about a complicated subject in a short period of time. the knowledge gained here will certainly benefit my personal career. Thanks." Terry Frost, www.computing.ie,CCNA Accelerated Course (20/8/2007 to 24/8/2007) "I found the CCNA course to be jammed full of information both theory and the invaluable practical labs. The days are very long but rewarding. " Les Fish, Honeywell ,CCNA Accelerated Course (14/6/2004 to 18/6/2004) "They do what they say will they do in their promotion and do it very well." Anon., None,CCNA Accelerated Course (14/6/2004 to 18/6/2004) "If you already have a good grounding with Firebrand*P/IP, Routing, Cisco swiFirebrand*hes and routers this 5-day course will give you the extra edge you need to pass your CCNA " J.M., AVC (Europe) Ltd,CCNA Accelerated Course (13/2/2006 to 17/2/2006) "I found the course content of the CCNA very balanced along with suitable labs which made you think. A qualification to be proud of once you've passed." Darren Knowles, Interactive Web Services Ltd,CCNA Accelerated Course (3/5/2004 to 7/5/2004) "A tough, gruelling course that meets its objectives to prepare the student for the CCNA exam. This is not a course to take lightly - it will not teach you everything you need to know to pass the exam after just 5 days. It is the final icing on the cake that should consolidate your knowledge and prepare you for the CCNA exam." M.W., NATO,CCNA Accelerated Course (12/12/2005 to 16/12/2005) "Firebrand* was a real experience, i really learnt a lot about the subject matter, and about my own capabilities during this week. The food was great, and the tutor was very knowledgable and tought in an interesting way, which is what you need when cramming so much info into 1 week." Jon Yang, acco europe,CCNA Accelerated Course (21/11/2005 to 25/11/2005) "Upon arrival, the operations staff were courteous and efficient. I felt completely catered for throughout my time at Firebrand*. Catering was 1st class and the amenities were comfortable and clean. The instructor was knowledgeable and helpful, much better than previous instructors. The teaching method of theory, practical and review was at the right level for the course. You're here to work hard, but you're in the best hands." Mark Hodgkinson, no one,CCNA Accelerated Course (7/5/2007 to 11/5/2007) "The training course improved my understanding significantly." anon, Motorola,CCNA Accelerated Course (16/8/2004 to 20/8/2004) "Although a long and hard week, the learning experience was first class and I received a favourable result at the end of the week." Adam Goodall, iomart,CCNA Accelerated Course (16/1/2006 to 20/1/2006) "If you have some solid networking knowledge and are prepared to put the work in, then this is the course for you. Although it is EXTREMELY intensive it is well worth it. The instructor was exemplary and the facilities are excellent. Just one word of warning, Expect no sleep for the week, or very little. I'd definately use Firebrand* again, and would recommend it to anyone who has the drive to get through a boot camp." Stephen Everett, Data Systems & Solutions,CCNA Accelerated Course (27/3/2006 to 31/3/2006) "A great place to really learn." Stuart Clark, Jackshfm,CCNA Accelerated Course (30/7/2007 to 3/8/2007)

PRINCE2 Training
What our customers say about this course...
"Training instructor was absolute 1st class. taught me more in 5 days than what I know in 27 years. Food was exceptional too and the canteen staff were polite and provided a great service. Great idea about free drinks and food whilst on the course as this is much needed. Highly recommended *****" Rob Roberts, DHL,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (5/11/2007 to 9/11/2007) "My reasons for attending Firebrand training was that Prince2 is a very intensive subject and although other companies offered the training cheaper. Firebrand training centre gave me the facilities to relax and concentrate on the subject in a controlled and comfortable environment." Rick Henry, Solutions Design EMEA Ltd.,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (29/10/2007 to 2/11/2007) "Very effective. To gain full Prince2 practioner certication in 5 days is a tremendous achievement." Vic Frewin, Myself,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (24/9/2007 to 28/9/2007) "My Prince2 course experience met expectations, and I have never worked so hard in five days! Anyone thinking this is a holiday will be very upset, but will be very happy when you find everyone in the class passes the exams! On the one night off after the Foundation, we had two beers and everyone went back to their rooms to sleep! Great venue, great teacher and plenty of food and drink to keep you going!" Paul Underwood, Ostrich Media Ltd,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (22/10/2007 to 26/10/2007) "The trainer exceeded all my expectations. Clarity of delivery, controlling the training environment to focus on learning, maintaining a rapid pace, variety of teaching methods. It was an excellent way to cover the whole syllabus quickly and effectively. You need to be committed to working hard all week and then it's really worth it." Bob Mason, Self,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (22/10/2007 to 26/10/2007) "Exhausting but effective, Ill be back." Jorgen Strandquist, Self Employed,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (22/10/2007 to 26/10/2007) "I attended the PRINCE2 foundation/practitioner 5 day course. It was an extremely intense week and you need 110% commitment but the lecturer was outstanding and made all the difference. I would recommend Firebrand accelerated learning any day." Sinead, Vodafone,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (22/10/2007 to 26/10/2007) "A very balanced and well managed course. Effective methods of teaching made it even better for me. " Waseem Zia Chaudhry, A Telecom Service Provider,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (22/10/2007 to 26/10/2007) "The intensive nature of the course and excellent facilities gave me a great deal of confidence before starting the final exam. It's hard work but worthwhile." Steve Smith, Self employed,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (22/10/2007 to 26/10/2007) "This course was very well presented. The instructor conveyed everything very well, and in my opinion probably one of the best instructors I have met. " Billy Khan, HP,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (8/10/2007 to 12/10/2007) "A focussed and intensive course, but good fun nevertheless" Pam Highton, Thames Valley Police,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (8/10/2007 to 12/10/2007) "The course was hard work, especially if you have been away from an intense learning environment for some years, over 20 in my case, however the instruction was superb with the course material and pre test questions very well written. If you want to pass the course and are prepared to put in a little effort you can achieve your aim." John Adderley, Jessop Group PLC,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (8/10/2007 to 12/10/2007) "I can't imagine how I would cope with such an amount of material had I not done a residential course. The facilities were exceptionally comfortable and supportive, and the trainer was extremely knowledgable, approachable and friendly." Darya Feuerstein, Prince Research Consultants Ltd.,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (24/9/2007 to 28/9/2007) "Well worth attending the course. The on-hand support was perfect for my training requirements." Michelle Rangel, British Airways,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (24/9/2007 to 28/9/2007) "Every detail needed to make the learning experience successful was taken care of. Food at Eynsham Hall is superb. The PRINCE2 trainer was excellent in all aspects of delivering the course, and undoubtedly the major factor in the overall success of the course and gaining the qualification. The variety of methods and material used promoted a quick and clear grasp of what can be difficult subject matter. Do the course once and properly! I recommend without hesitation and would use Firebrand again myself. " Civam Perampalam, PSM Intercommerce,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (24/9/2007 to 28/9/2007) "The course did what it said on the label - an intensively focussed week! Be prepared for long days and late nights. You will need to do a lot of pre-reading (8-10hrs minimum) and any additional background reading/research would be helpful. You will need to take copious notes and have a clear head/brain all week! That said it was very interesting and Firebrand should be commended! I can't imagine how a non-residential course can cover the same material in such depth. Expensive but worth it!" David Hampson-Ghani, My own business - South Barn Solutions Ltd,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (24/9/2007 to 28/9/2007) "The course was very intense, but there was lots of support provided by the instructor, who was prepaired to stay around in the classroom as long as was needed. " David Longden, DHL Consulting Limited,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (24/9/2007 to 28/9/2007) "Great training provided within excellent facilities!" Q.T., Synovate,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (10/9/2007 to 14/9/2007) "The trainer was excellent, I dont know how he did it but I kept on absorbing knowledge like a sponge even when I felt sure I couldn't take in anymore!!! The PRINCE 2 course is hard work but achieveable if you put the effort in - If I haven't passed it will be through no fault of Firebrand* who prepared us as fully as possible. My tip would be, just when you think its becoming impossible keep going and suddenly it will all slot into place." Cheryl Eaton, T Mobile,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (10/9/2007 to 14/9/2007) "Well organised, well presented and geared up to making the candidate succeed. Very good value for money." Mark Thornhill, Contractor,PRINCE2 Accelerated Course (10/9/2007 to 14/9/2007)
